Opening Doors for New Talent:
Supporting emerging technologies in film and motion picture arts creates opportunities for aspiring filmmakers and artists. These technologies often require specialized knowledge and skills, and by providing support, educational programs, and resources, PBIFF, PBIFI and others in the industry can nurture a new generation of talent. By embracing technological advancements, the industry becomes more inclusive, encouraging diversity and innovation.
Economic Growth and Industry Competitiveness:
Parker says that PBIFF and PBIFI believe that, “the film and motion picture industry is not only a medium of artistic expression but also a significant economic driver.” “Through the support of PBIFF and PBIFI for emerging technologies, we are hoping to also encourage the support of our local governments, educational institutions, and production companies and hoping they will see the potential for stimulating economic growth.” “Embracing these advancements attracts investment, fosters job creation, and bolsters local industries associated with technology development and production.”
